Brazilian ISP Mob Telecom has acquired SergipeWeb, TeleSintese reports. The acquired company serves 50,000 fixed broadband subscriptions across Aracaju and 17 other locations in the north-east of the country. The value of the deal has not yet been disclosed.
TeleGeography notes that Mob Telecom is part of the EB Capital-backed Alloha Fibra holding company, alongside Sumicity, Vip Telecom, Wirelink, Univox, Click Telecom and Ligue Telecom. When combined, the seven ISPs serve a total of 850,000 subscriptions across 200 cities.
