Unifique agrees triple takeover

6 Oct 2021

Santa Catarina-based Unifique – Brazil’s seventh largest ISP in terms of subscribers – has agreed to acquire three more regional providers as its takeover spree continues. According to TeleTime, Unifique has lined up deals for MKS NET (BRL51.8 million [USD9.5 million]), TVC (BRL20.2 million) and Fibramaxx (BRL10.2 million). The smaller players serve a combined 33,000 customers and operate in various towns and cities across Santa Catarina, thus complementing Unifique’s existing footprint.

As of 30 June 2021 Unifique served a total of 370,784 fixed broadband subscriptions.
