Telecom Argentina has announced plans to ‘evolve its brand identity’, with a focus on the ‘Telecom’, ‘Personal’ and ‘Flow’ brands. Going forward, Telecom will be used for B2B activities, Flow will cover the telco’s entertainment services and Personal will encompass both mobile and fixed broadband solutions. Going forward, all ‘Fibertel’-branded services will be rolled into Personal, ‘Cablevision’ services will transfer to Flow and ‘Fibercorp’ products will revert to Telecom.
Roberto Nobile, CEO of Telecom Argentina, commented: ‘At Telecom we accelerate our own evolution as a company. We went from being a traditional telco to an ecosystem of platforms, with new digital businesses to generate a convergent service experience … for our clients.’
TeleGeography notes that Telecom Argentina was formally merged with Cablevision on 1 January 2018, after receiving approval from the National Entity for Communications (Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones, ENACOM) on 21 December 2017.
