29 Sep 2021

Vodafone Ukraine and Nokia have disclosed tests achieving a peak mobile data speed of 772Mbps by aggregating four carrier frequencies – LTE-1800 20MHz 4×4, LTE-2100 10MHz 4×4, LTE-2600 10MHz 4×4 and LTE-900 5MHz 2×2 – using a commercial base station and the cellco’s existing frequency allocations. Vodafone Ukraine says it is continuing implementation of new technologies on its network, and that Nokia Airscale equipment enables it to launch services based on all existing (2G, 3G, 4G) and near-future (5G) technology platforms.
