22 Sep 2021

Altice France (SFR) has secured a deal to take over French telco Coriolis Telecom for an initial consideration of EUR298 million (USD349.5 million), plus a deferred payment of EUR117 million. Under the deal, Altice will acquire around half a million MVNO subscriptions (SFR is already one of Coriolis’ host networks) located in small and mid-sized French cities, around 30,000 or so business subscriptions and Coriolis’ CRM division, which serves internal and third-party customers via four call centres in France and overseas. The deal is expected to close in the first half of 2022, subject to customary regulatory approvals.
