Mobile operator Vodafone Ukraine’s previously-announced proposal to acquire fixed broadband provider Vega has been valued at an estimated price of ‘up to USD15 million’, while the bidder anticipates wrapping up the deal no later than 15 September, having already received antimonopoly approval, Aroged.com reported citing a note to investors.

Vodafone Ukraine, the country’s second largest mobile operator by subscribers, is wholly owned by Azerbaijani cellco Bakcell, while Vega is currently part of Ukrainian tycoon Rinat Akhmetov’s SCM conglomerate.
