Bell chooses Casa Systems 5G fixed-wireless CPE

4 Aug 2021

Bell Canada has chosen Casa Systems to provide new 5G fixed-wireless outdoor customer premises equipment (CPE) for its Wireless Home Internet (WHI) service. Focused on bringing the next generation of broadband access to customers in small towns and rural communities, Bell’s upcoming 5G WHI rollout is an evolution of its existing 4G WHI service, for which Casa has provided CPE since 2018. Currently connecting rural homes and business locations across Atlantic Canada, Quebec, Ontario and Manitoba with internet download speeds of up to 50Mbps, the performance of the fixed-wireless service will be significantly enhanced with the introduction of 5G technologies.
