Telecom Italia Group (TIM Group) has recorded revenues of EUR3.82 billion (USD4.5 billion) in the second quarter of 2021, up 1.0% year-on-year. While sales in Italy fell 1.0% to EUR3.13 billion, TIM’s Brazilian unit recorded a 10.5% increase to EUR690 million. Total service revenues were down 1.5% at EUR3.46 billion and organic EBITDA dropped 5.8% to EUR1.64 billion due to an 8.4% fall in Italy to EUR1.32 billion.
TIM Italy had 19.31 million wireless subscribers at the end of June, excluding M2M and MVNO subscriptions, while it also served 7.78 million retail broadband customers. TIM Brasil had 51.34 million mobile customers as of H1 2021, down from 52.03 million a year earlier.
