C Spire completes Alabama Broadband Company acquisition

Regional US mobile operator C Spire has completed the acquisition and integration of Harbor Communications, which it agreed to buy in December last year. C Spire Home, the telco’s internet division, will initially make broadband services available to consumers and businesses in 60-plus ‘fiberhoods’ in early 2022, including Fairhope, Foley, Orange Beach, Gulf Shores and in various unincorporated parts of the two counties. As part of its expansion efforts, C Spire is actively seeking interest from consumers and businesses in other Alabama Gulf Coast communities and towns who are seeking a faster, more reliable internet service.
