Sky Italia broadband service reaches 2,000 cities a year after launch

16 Jun 2021

Sky Italia says its broadband internet services are now available to customers in over 2,000 cities, one year after the pay-TV group added fixed internet access to its portfolio. Sky offers broadband services over infrastructure deployed by wholesale partners Open Fiber and Fastweb. It plans to expand its reach to more rural communities this year as part of the agreement with Open Fiber, which is deploying networks under a series of government-subsidised contracts.
