Ooredoo Oman expands FTTH to two new locations

Ooredoo Oman has announced the expansion of its fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) broadband service to additional locations in the Sultanate. Customers in Amerat Al Mehaj and Awqad in Salalah are now able to access maximum speeds of 1Gbps on the network. Ooredoo’s ‘Fibre Home Internet’ is already available in several locations across the county, including Muscat, Salalah, Sohar, Al Batinah, Al Musannah, Nizwa, Ibri, Ibra, Rustaq and Barka. The firm adds that services will soon be available in Liwa Dream City, Burimi Hamasah and Sur Al Bilad.
