Ucell extends 5G promotion to end-August

Uzbek mobile operator Ucell has extended the availability of its ‘Unlimited 5G’ promotional offer until 31 August 2021. As previously reported by CommsUpdate, Ucell launched 5G 3500MHz mobile network services in the central business district of Tashkent on 8 April 2021, with the promotional Unlimited 5G data package valid for five days costing UZS5,000 (USD0.47), allowing unlimited 5G internet usage ‘at up to 1Gbps’ within the coverage area, initially available to purchase until 31 May.
