Telenor Denmark and Telia Denmark have announced that their Danish joint venture TT-Netvaerket has activated 5G on the 3.5GHz band, using equipment provided by Finnish vendor Nokia. The modernisation of the network infrastructure is currently ongoing in Denmark’s four largest cities, with 4G and 5G coverage scheduled to be expanded in resorts and other areas of the country going forward. The companies expect that the vast majority of all Danes will have access to 5G during 2022.
