Telekom Deutschland (TD), the domestic operating unit of Deutsche Telekom (DT), has revealed that it upgraded fixed broadband speeds for an additional 118,000 households in April. The firm says that a total of 34.1 million homes can now access maximum data rates of up to 100Mbps and the number of 250Mbps-enabled lines has reached 25.8 million nationwide. In addition, TD states that the total number of households connected to its fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network rose by 45,000 last month to 2.3 million.
