VodafoneZiggo introduces standalone internet packages

19 May 2021

The Netherlands’ largest fixed broadband provider by subscribers VodafoneZiggo has introduced the option for consumers to subscribe to its internet services on a standalone basis. Up until now, all Ziggo-branded internet packages included a basic cable TV package as standard. The operator notes that the new standalone packages – with speeds available up to 1Gbps/50Mbps download/upload – are the cheapest in its range and are available to all new and existing customers. VodafoneZiggo B2C marketing director Koen Cluistra said: ‘We’re always looking at the developments in the market and want to have an appropriate solution for every customer. There is a demand for a product where you only pay for internet, especially among young people. With the new internet-only subscriptions that we’re offering as of today, customers will have fast and stable internet for a lower price.’
