Vodafone Italy says it is now offering its fixed-wireless access (FWA) service to 5,000 municipalities. A report from Mondo Mobile Web cites the telco’s Director of Strategy, Business Transformation & Wholesale, Andrea Rossini, as saying that coverage of the service, which utilises Vodafone’s 4G network, is still being expanded. The FWA offer has two tariff plans: Casa Wireless offers 200GB of bandwidth per month at download speeds of up to 30Mbps for EUR24.90 (USD30.26), while Casa Wireless+ costs EUR29.90 and provides unlimited monthly access at speeds of up to 100Mbps.
