Icelandic telecoms operator Siminn has selected Ericsson as its 5G RAN partner, following successful 5G trials. Under the new agreement, 5G RAN products and solutions from the Ericsson Radio System portfolio, including Ericsson Spectrum Sharing, will be deployed. Siminn will initially utilise its legacy bands for low-band 5G services, with plans to offer the service nationwide by the end of 2022.
