Togo’s Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Posts (ARCEP) has launched an international tender seeking offerings from companies which meet its qualifying pre-conditions to supply its new business support systems (BSS) for real-time monitoring of the domestic electronic communications market. The tender notice – AOI No. 001/ARCEP/PRMP/2021 – follows the issuing of a General Tender Notice in the Togo daily press earlier this month.
ARCEP’s notice confirms that ‘deliveries are made, within 120 days from the date of notification of the contract’, and that ‘procurement will be conducted by open invitation to tender as defined by the Public Procurement Code in force and its implementing texts, and open to all eligible candidates’. Interested parties are invited to apply for further information to ARCEP, noting that the qualification requirements are based on: the legal conditions of the company; the financial situation of the company; the company’s experience; and the existence of an after-sales service provided either directly or through a representative located in Togo.
The last date for bids is 25 June 2021 and bids must include an XOF9.5 million (USD17,500) tender guarantee. The tender also carries a non-refundable XOF100,000 fee.
