Africell Angola launching in December

Angolan mobile market new entrant Africell has confirmed a commercial service launch target of December 2021, according to Matias Manuel da Silva Borges, national director of telecommunications and information technologies, quoted by MenosFios. Africell formalised a contract with Angola’s government to become the country’s fourth ‘Unified Global’ telecoms operator in early February this year, and is currently deploying its mobile network infrastructure, while the official stated that the newcomer will also provide digital television and mobile money services.
