Eiasa launches Megaya fibre ISP in Medellin

Colombian energy company Energia Integral Andina (Eiasa) has launched a new fibre-optic ISP called Megaya to meet increasing demand in the city of Medellin. The operator’s greenfield fibre rollout has been implemented using Alepo’s Broadband AAA solution, in partnership with local system integrator Italtel. The deployment, which has been partially funded by the government, seeks to provide high-quality FTTx services to underserved locations.
