Orange Romania has introduced a new 5G fixed internet service for business customers in Romania, offering unlimited access at speeds of up to 1.2Gbps (355.6Mbps over 4G). Orange claims the ‘Office Net 30’ 5G subscription, priced at EUR30 (USD35.4) a month, is an ideal alternative for customers with no access to fibre-optic services and those looking for a more flexible alternative.
‘Office Net 5G gives businesses unlimited access to speeds comparable to fibre-optics, but with very little effort in terms of IT infrastructure and increased flexibility. With this launch, Orange becomes the first local operator to offer companies Gigabit speed through both fibre-optics and traditional cellular networks,’ Orange Romania B2B Director said in a press release. Although the free Wi-Fi 6 router is restricted to one location, users can request this be changed at a cost of EUR2. Launched in November 2019, Orange’s 5G network now covers Bucharest and 14 other cities.
