Business services provider Paratus Mozambique says it is using fibre, wireless broadband and satellite solutions to expand its footprint and improve its services. The firm, whose parent company has operations in a number of African markets, has been working with equipment vendor RADWIN to deploy a 3.5GHz wireless broadband network.
Paratus Mozambique managing director Rui Costa commented: ‘ICT infrastructure has become the basic building block of our modern society. It is a powerful engine of growth in the region where the cost for telecommunications is still very high. Our core mission is to ultimately close the digital divide through investing in infrastructure to provide and improve connectivity in the region.’
