Telekom upgrades broadband speeds for 377,000 homes

Telekom Deutschland (TD), the domestic operating unit of Deutsche Telekom (DT), has revealed that it upgraded fixed broadband speeds for an additional 377,000 households since the start of the year. The firm says that a total of 34.0 million homes can now access maximum data rates of up to 100Mbps and the number of 250Mbps-enabled lines has reached 25.6 million nationwide. In addition, TD states that the total number of households connected to its fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network rose by 88,000 since the start of 2021, to 2.2 million.
