Italy gets new ISP as Aruba launches FTTH services

Italian data centre and web hosting firm Aruba has launched fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) broadband services using the infrastructure of wholesale provider Open Fiber. The service is available to both private and business users over a footprint of more than eleven million premises in 2,100 municipalities. Speeds of up to 1Gbps are being offered, with prices for residential customers starting at EUR28.67 (USD34.17) per month, including router rental.
