Ooredoo reaches new areas with FTTH

Ooredoo Oman has announced the expansion of its fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) broadband service to additional locations in the Sultanate. Customers in areas including Barka (Ph-2 Commercial Area), Al Amerat and Ibra are now able to access maximum speeds of 1Gbps on the network. Ooredoo’s ‘Fibre Home Internet’ is already available in several locations, including Muscat, Salalah, Sohar, Al Batinah, Al Musannah, Nizwa, Ibri, Rustaq and Barka.
