T-Mobile’s Czech unit boosts broadband speeds with DSL bonding

9 Dec 2020

T-Mobile Czech Republic has announced that it is improving its fixed internet DSL offerings using bonding which will double data transmission speeds over legacy copper lines. In a press release outlining the upgrade, Zdenek Spurny, T-Mobile’s Residential Services Manager, said that bonding will allow it to offer speeds of 50Mbps or 100Mbps to an additional 1.5 million addresses in the Republic – or around a third more customers than it has been able to deliver ultra-high speed broadband to, to date. T-Mobile says it will be able to provide DSL bonding to both new and existing customers, adding that until the end of the year customers can take advantage of fixed internet for CZK299 (USD13.7) per month.
