Tiscali joins TIM’s FiberCop business

Telecom Italia (TIM) and Tiscali have agreed to cooperate on TIM’s last-mile networks business FiberCop. The two firms have formalised a co-investment arrangement which was agreed in principle in August this year. According to a statement from TIM, a series of operating and commercial agreements have been signed with immediate effect to govern the phases of the project, the first of which concerns streamlining the Tiscali network. In line with the FiberCop development plan, Tiscali will be able to activate new customers on the newly established network.
