Eltel signs three-year frame agreement with Telenor Norge

19 Nov 2020

Nordic field service provider Eltel has announced that its communication business in Norway has signed a three-year continuation of a current telecoms frame agreement with Telenor Norge. In a press release regarding the development Eltel noted that the agreement ‘covers field services for about EUR180-EUR280 million (USD214-USD332 million) and includes an option of up to two years’. With the new frame agreement valid from January 2021 through December 2023, Eltel says it will be based on a model where the vendor will be responsible for a contracted volume of design, planning, service deliveries, installations and maintenance, for given geographical areas. Under the new agreement Eltel says it will ‘continue to play key role in upgrading the digital infrastructure through fibre and 5G rollout’.
