Tele2 adds 30 new 5G locations in Sweden

11 Nov 2020

Tele2 Sweden says it has expanded its 5G network to 30 new locations, adding to the four cities already covered. The firm says that speeds of up to 1Gbps are available at most 5G-enabled locations. All Tele2 customers with a 25GB, 50GB or Unlimited subscription and a 5G-compatible phone can use the 5G network at no extra cost. While expanding its 5G footprint, Tele2 says it is also upgrading its 4G LTE systems, in what it says is ‘the largest and most comprehensive infrastructure project we have ever undertaken’.
