Comcast achieves symmetrical 1.25Gbps speeds in Florida trial

Comcast has achieved symmetrical download/upload speeds of 1.25Gbps over a live production network using Network Function Virtualisation (NFV) combined with DOCSIS technology. The trial took place at a home in Jacksonville, Florida, where technicians installed the service, which is based upon a Distributed Access Architecture (DAA) that Comcast has deployed throughout the local area.
