Canada’s Rogers Communications announced yesterday (1 September 2020) that it has switched on commercial 5G network services in 50 additional cities and towns including the Saskatchewan cities of Regina and Saskatoon, following its initial 5G launch in March in Vancouver, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. Rogers says its 5G services will span a total of more than 60 markets by year-end.

Rogers 5G is currently accessible to customers on Rogers Infinite ‘unlimited data’ plans and unlimited business wireless plans with selected 5G-ready devices. The company added that it currently has over two million subscribers to Infinite packages.
