Maltese telco GO has registered a 7.8% increase in first-half revenues to EUR91.6 million (USD108 million), driven by its 60.3%-owned Cypriot cable subsidiary Cablenet as well as consolidation of traditional fixed line services at its domestic arm. The growth came despite lower income from mobile roaming due to the COVID-19 travel restrictions. Group EBITDA was stable at EUR35.5 million, while net profit dropped from EUR7.84 million in H1 2019 to EUR5.64 million a year later, mainly due to increased depreciation and amortisation charges.
