Regional operator M-net has revealed that its fibre-optic (FTTx) networks passed 770,000 households and businesses in Bavaria at the end of 2019, an increase of 10% from 700,000 a year earlier. Around 490,000 customers were supplied with internet, telephony or TV services by the operator at 31 December 2019, up from approximately 470,000 twelve months previously.
