Slovakia postpones 5G sale

Slovakia’s Office for Regulation of Electronic Communications & Postal Services (Regulacny urad, RU) has postponed the country’s auction of 5G-capable frequencies which was scheduled to begin today (22 June). No reason was given for the delay. The watchdog said that ‘the selection process continues’ and that information regarding a new auction date will be given ‘in time’. Spectrum is being offered in the 700MHz, 900MHz and 1800MHz bands.
