Cyfrowy Polsat subsidiaries Netia and Plus (Polkomtel) have signed a deal to use capacity on the fibre access networks of Nexera, which is rolling out infrastructure under Operational Programme Digital Poland (Programu Operacyjnego Polska Cyfrowa, POPC). Nexera hopes to cover around 670,000 households and 3,000 schools and colleges by end-2021, allowing third-party service providers to offer broadband services with download speeds of up to 1Gbps. Rival operators Orange, T-Mobile and UPC have already signed wholesale agreements with Nexera.
