According to TeleSintese, Unifique has agreed takeover deals for Infoway, Snet and Station. The companies are understood to serve a number of existing Unifique markets, alongside ten unserved locations and will add a total of 30,000 new customers to the telco’s user base. Marketing director Jair Francisco commented: ‘We are on track to reach our goal of one million homes passed by 2025.’
According to TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database, Unifique served 128,504 fixed broadband subscribers as of 31 December 2019, making it Brazil’s eleventh largest ISP in terms of customer numbers.
