Vodafone UK ups entry-level speed for FTTH-based broadband service

20 Apr 2020

British communications provider Vodafone UK has increased the speed of its entry-level fibre-based fixed broadband offering, ISPreview reports. Having previously offered a symmetrical 100Mbps-capable broadband connection for GBP28 (USD35) per month, Vodafone UK has now doubled the speed of its cheapest ‘Gigafast’ branded plan, to 200Mbps, with the price remaining the same. Maximum speeds remain unchanged, meanwhile, with Vodafone UK’s top-tier fibre plan – which offered over the infrastructure being rolled out by CityFibre – offering symmetrical speeds of up to 900Mbps for GBP48 per month.
