Tele2 Sweden’s low-cost mobile brand Comviq is entering the country’s fixed broadband sector. Using open access networks, Comviq has launched broadband via fibre with prices starting at SEK295 (USD29.30) a month for an existing subscriber taking a 100Mbps service; the price of the same package for a user who does not subscribe to Comviq mobile services is SEK365. Parent company Tele2 is already active in the Swedish fixed broadband sector via cableco unit ComHem.
