10 Mar 2020

Indiana-based MetroNet Holdings, the parent company of regional fibre operator MetroNet, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Minnesota-based Jaguar Communications. Founded in 1999, Jaguar provides a full suite of B2C/B2B fibre services to customers in 13 counties across Southern Minnesota over its 2,000-mile fibre network. For its part, MetroNet launched in 2005 and now serves 100 communities across Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Minnesota, Ohio and Florida. The transaction is expected to close in the coming months after MetroNet secures regulatory approval.
