Liquid Telecom Rwanda has launched a new range of fibre broadband products, offering customers in selected areas of Kigali connectivity at speeds from 5Mbps to 150Mbps. Prices range from RWF27,999 (USD29.18) a month for the 5Mbps service to RWF199,999 for the 150Mbps product. To accompany the launch Liquid Telecom is rebranding itself in Rwanda, dropping its current ‘Hai’ brand in favour of ‘Liquid Home’.
Alexis Kabeja, CEO of Liquid Telecom in Rwanda, said: ‘With Liquid Home, users get unlimited high speed internet, significant price reductions and free installation across all of our packages. This includes feature-rich options for the most demanding consumers. By making it easy for more homes to connect to the fastest and most reliable broadband network, Liquid Telecom has set a new benchmark for affordable internet connectivity aligned to the Government’s digital agenda.’
According to TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database, Liquid Telecom currently has fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) networks passing around 12,000 homes and businesses in the Rwandan capital, with a plan to expand its coverage to 20,000 premises.
