Italy’s Intred agrees to buy 100% of Qcom

Regional Italian telco Intred has agreed to acquire the remainder of local business services provider Qcom. Intred announced a EUR8.2 million (USD8.9 million) agreement on 8 January to buy 74.78% of Bergamo-based Qcom, but has now modified the deal to acquire 100% of Qcom for around EUR10.2 million. Intred operates a 2,900km fibre network in the region of Lombardy in northern Italy.
