Maltese telco GO has signed a EUR28 million (USD30.8 million) loan agreement with the European Investment Bank (EIB) to help fund its ongoing fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) rollout. The operator is planning to cover another 70,000 homes with its fibre networks over the next three years. The loan is the first in Malta to be backed by the EIB. GO currently has around 90,000 premises passed by its FTTH infrastructure.
