Telekom upgrades LTE for 760,000 homes in border areas

Telekom Deutschland (TD), the domestic operating unit of Deutsche Telekom (DT), has increased the speeds of its LTE network for more than 760,000 households in border areas of Germany. Federal states that have benefited from the rollout include Schleswig-Holstein (160,000 homes), North Rhine-Westphalia (92,000) and Lower Saxony (88,000). In the coming months, TD will also equip around 260 locations along the borders with 4G for the first time, enabling around 285,000 households to access its LTE network for the first time.
