Germany opens 5G spectrum applications for industrial usage

Germany’s Federal Network Agency (FNA) has launched the application process for the allocation of regional 5G spectrum, which has been earmarked for local and industrial usage. Spectrum licences in the 3700MHz-3800MHz band are available, in order to promote innovative solutions for business and industry, as well as agriculture and forestry. Spectrum prices depend on the requested bandwidth, the duration of the licence and the size of the area to be covered by the network.
