Bouygues Telecom is seeking partners for two infrastructure rollouts in France, estimated to cost a combined EUR2 billion (USD2.2 billion), Bloomberg writes, citing people familiar with the matter. The operator is working with an adviser on a potential deal, known internally as ‘Project Saint-Malo’, for the deployment of an EUR1 billion fibre-optic network in France; the company is said to have interest from several infrastructure funds as well as French companies. The company is also seeking investors for another EUR1 billion fibre network rollout, dubbed ‘Project Asterix’; the unnamed sources said that Bouygues’ advisers recently kicked off the process by sending out teaser documents.
