Nigerian wireless operator 9mobile is planning to expand and improve its 4G network in at least 16 cities within the next few months. The firm’s Managing Director, Stephane Beuvelet, told local newspaper Punch that the firm is investing in the expansion programme to improve coverage and network efficiency. ‘We are planning to roll out 4G at a minimum of 16 cities, some existing and other new cities. This would help the company to renew its coverage and network expansion as well as continuing to improve our quality of service,’ he said, adding that some of the cities that will benefit from the improved network include Enugu, Sokoto, Owerri and Eket.
