Indosat Ooredoo setting up IDR300bn loan for IM2

11 Nov 2019

Indosat Ooredoo is seeking to establish an IDR300 billion (USD24.4 million) shareholder loan for its internet subsidiary Indosat Mega Media (IM2) – which provides telecoms, IT, multimedia and broadcast TV networks in Indonesia – to bolster the latter’s working capital and capital expenditure resources. IndoTelko cites an Indosat Ooredoo regulatory filing to the Indonesia Stock Exchange dated 10 November in which it confirms that ‘IM2 will withdraw the loan periodically according to the working capital requirement’.

IM2 is 99.85%-owned by Indosat Ooredoo and currently provides services to corporate users, government institutions and the residential sector.
