TIM considers data centre spin-off

Telecom Italia (TIM) is considering creating a separate business unit for its data centre operations ahead of a potential listing. A report from Bloomberg cites an unnamed source as saying: ‘The data centre deal is an idea that could happen next year.’ TIM operates sites in Turin, Milan (Rozzano and Cesano Maderno), Padua, Bologna, Florence, Rome, Pomezia, Naples, Bari and Palermo.
