24 Sep 2019

Filipino operator Globe Telecom has reportedly inked a deal with American Tower Corporation (ATC) subsidiary Transcend Towers Infrastructure to build out new towers in the country. Telecomlead notes that under the deal, Transcend will initially construct 150 new sites for Ayala-led Globe in North Luzon. The move comes in the wake of Globe Telecom signing similar tower leasing deals with ISOC Infrastructure and Malaysia-based tower operator edotco Group (June) and Aboitiz InfraCapital, and Frontier Tower Associates Philippines (FTAP) in July.
