Telekom enables 250Mbps speeds for 615,000 more homes

Telekom Deutschland (TD), the domestic operating unit of Deutsche Telekom (DT), has enabled maximum fixed broadband speeds of 250Mbps for a further 615,000 lines nationwide. The additions bring the total number of 250Mbps-enabled lines to almost 24 million. The company also announced that the number of lines with maximum 100Mbps connection speeds ‘using other technologies’ has been increased by an additional 40,000, bringing total household coverage of the rates to more than 29.5 million.
